Overview
The World Union is an intergovernmental military alliance between its member states. It also shares free trade and travel agreements. The World Union was established in 1937 by Grenopia (Nation) and Nordic Democratic Republic (Nation) with the purpose of collective security against aggression from The Soviet state of Svalbard (Nation). Where its independent member states agree to mutual defense in response by any outside party. An armed attack against one member shall be consider an attack against them.
Throughout the 20th century after its founding, its purpose to deter outside threats were very successful. The organization and its member states enjoyed peace for rest of the century. Major powers such as Meridian Commonwealth (Nation) joined in 1900s and United Kuzikstan (Nation) joined the organization in the early 21st century.
When the United Kingdom States (Nation) was formed in 2019, United Kingdom of Miotia-Candor (State) joined the organization through their federal government. The combination of economic and military power made the organization the most powerful international faction at the time. The World Union fought along aside Jezabelstien (Nation) against the Valarssari Empire (Nation) in mid 2019 to defend against the Helios System (Stellar System). The Meridian Commonwealth (Nation) left the World Union sometime after 2019 due to a change in their administration.
After the War of the 4th Coalition, INCOM and NCSO rose to become rival of the World Union. However this rivalry would disappear after the unexpected dissolution of INCOM and the collapse Anteria. With the rise of Zovism in United Kuzikstan (Nation), the Shanting (Landmass) nation also left the organization in 2025.
World Union's main headquarters are in Cotajromm, Grenopia (Nation). Two regional military headquarters are located in Nordic Democratic Republic (Nation) and United Kingdom States (Nation) As of 2025, United Kingdom States (Nation) is the largest military spender in support of the organization, with Nordic Democratic Republic (Nation) being the second.
