Kayvon

Kayvon or Kaybon is the seventh and outermost planet in the Helios System. Compositionally similar to Berijis, Kayvon is a large ice giant with a pale teal atmosphere composed of volatile “ices”. However, the planet is much denser than Berijis and is defined by consistent and large bands of storms. Being located over 33 AU from Helios, the Kayvon was not discovered until 1820 when a group of Meridian astronomers calculated the planet’s position and its only major moon, Juliet. The astronomers named Kayvon after the fictitious planet of the same name from ancient Meridian faith.

Due to Kayvon’s extreme distance from Utopia, it is one of the least studied planets in the Helios system. It has been visited by the Meridian Commonwealth multiple times as part of satellite missions into the outer Helios system, but never as a study into the planet itself. Only the Vrill have launched satellites to study the planet directly, leading to the discovery of new irregular moons in 2024.
